The Arctic: One of the animals we learned about was the walrus. We learned that a walrus:
- is a mammal
- has blubber to keep warm
- has tusks to defend itself and pull itself up on the ice
- has front flippers and back flippers
- is a carnivore
- uses its whiskers to find its food
- lives in the Arctic where it is very cold
